Following the same traditional construction methods used on all other Jim Green boots, the mean machine is a combination of the best specs yet is boosted with a new natural rubber compound sole. This new sole combined with the beauty of the Jim Green crazy horse leather bring you a boot that isn’t only easy on the eye but also super comfortable. The Mean Machine brings a new meaning to durability, comfort, and quality.

  • Manufactured with a double layer of leather (2.2 mm oily nubuck leather, lined with 1.6 mm calf leather)
  • Double layer of leather aids in the boot's water-resistant properties (not waterproof)
  • Ankle padding for excellent support, comfort and protection
  • Thermoplastic toe puff and a heel stiffener for extra support
  • A steel shank between the insole board and sole offers extra support and stability
  • Insole board is secured to the upper with a double stitched 2.2 mm braided nylon cord
  • Sole is made from a genuine natural rubber

Germany


We ship freight-free with DHL within Germany for purchases over €50. For a small additional charge, we also ship by express with UPS. You will be given this option during the checkout process before purchase.



European Union


We ship with DHL or UPS within Europe. Freight costs will be calculated at checkout depending on your location . You can also choose DHL or UPS at checkout.

We charge local VAT on the purchase price. Since we are a German shop, we display our prices with our local VAT of 19%. In some European countries, the VAT is slightly higher and this is added to the price.



UK / Switzerland and rest of the world


We ship worldwide with DHL or UPS.

Freight costs will be calculated at checkout depending on your location. You can also choose DHL or UPS at checkout.

If your delivery address is outside the European Union, you are entitled to purchase tax-free. The price will then be displayed without taxes.


Customs & import duties

International orders shipped outside the European Union are tax-free but may be subject to customs duties and VAT in your country.


Due to new regulations, US citizens do not pay customs duties if the purchase price does not exceed 800USD. For other countries, please contact your local customs authority.

We are not responsible for additional fees and/or brokerage fees or delays in shipping caused by your local customs authorities. Any freight and customs fees incurred when a shipment cannot be delivered because you refuse it will be charged to you and deducted from your purchase price upon return.

Perfect work boots

Great boots

The boots are excellent, though as with the Razorbacks, they need about a week of wearing to break them in. Love the two-tone leather.

A few mentions if you are considering these.
- the padding is better than with the Razorbacks and the collar of the shoe is where they differ.
- while it says here that these are a EEE width, that's not true, they are EE just like the Razorbacks (they are still wide, with plenty of room for the toes)

Otherwise if, like me, you have a pair of Razorbacks, then these are pretty much the same in how they feel on the foot.
